I’ve been running a lot lately.  Ok, ok, you caught me…I’ve been running with a pretty healthy dose of walking mixed in lately (but for the sake of my pride, can we just pretend that I’m running?  Awesome, you’re the best).  I have challenged myself to only run outside.  I hit the streets and wind my way through different neighborhoods.  I sweat in a most unladylike fashion because it’s Oklahoma and it’s hotter than blue blazes.  And while at first I wasn’t much of a fan, I’ve really come to appreciate the quiet time that it allows me to think.

It’s time that I don’t have to answer a text or check out all the Social Media sites or stare at a screen.  Sometimes I scope out the different houses and imagine what they might look like on the inside.  Sometimes I scout for hidden parks for photo shoots.  Sometimes I’m gasping for breath and challenge myself to go just.one.more.block.  Sometimes I get lost in the music I’m listening to and I maaaay or may not have accidentally sang out loud (hint: the answer is ‘may’).  But on every run I take a moment to reflect upon all of the things in my life that I’m grateful for.  And a huge part of those grateful moments go to all of my wonderful MerryB clients.

So a huge THANK YOU goes out to you, my dears.  Thank you for trusting me to capture these wonderful & special moments in your life.  Thank you for allowing me these amazing glimpses into your world…which are all so beautiful and fill my heart with joy.  MerryB Photography has been a dream of mine for so long and all of you have helped me to give it life.

I am such an incredibly lucky duck to be able to pursue my passion.  And I’m an incredibly super duper uber lucky duck to have the privilege of working with all of my fabulous families and friends.  Thank you to the moon and back!
