My cousin Mallory is one amazing lady… she’s one of the funniest, thoughtful & most charming people I know.  I’ve spent many hours quoting movies, jamming out to great music, & laughing for ridiculously long amounts of time with her.  Really, she’s more like a sister to me than a cousin.  We even have some pretty epic nicknames for each other (she’s my Gertrude).

So when she told me that she met a guy, fell in love, and was moving to California with him, my protective ‘big sister’ instincts kicked in.  I mean, I didn’t know if there was a guy out there good enough for my Gertie.

Then I met Jesse.

Jesse is hilarious, kind hearted, and generous.  He’s got a serious love of one liner jokes and has a pretty stylish collection of socks.  But most importantly, when he looks at Mallory and when Mallory look at Jesse, you can almost see the tiny hearts dancing between them.  He’s seriously the best guy ever for my cousin.  I could aaalllllmost be okay with them moving all the way out to California.

 
In June of 2013, Jesse asked Mallory to marry him…and (spoiler alert!) she said ‘Yes’!
